Bio-light by Philips Design :: The bio-light is a cellular light array filled with bioluminescent bacteria or fluorescent proteins, that emit different frequencies of light when feb by methane and composted material. Each cell is connected via silicon tubes to the food source (which is drawn from a reservoir at the base), creating a closed loop system for the living material. Part of the Microbial Home System conceived by Philips.
